An Independent Film by Melisse Tokic

Following his rape, a transgender man struggles to find comfort and support amid the religious margins of the rural South. Melisse Tokic makes her directorial debut in Queer and Southern God, a Southern Gothic, biblical tale that is set in rural Tennessee. 

What's Next?

The film has been shot and edited. We're making friends as we plan the marketing and release phase of the film. A Nashville premiere is slated for Spring 2018. Stay tuned for the announcements regarding all screening and film festival details.
